Does anyone in here know where to get lots of info on the 1998 Hobart race for school. I need photos , to do reports, and any credable news follow ups. Thanks

If it were not for boats I'd be a rich man..........

How far are you on your reserach? If you're new to the net, Google is a good first place to start:

Spend a few hours checking out every site, and go from there following links and getting contacts from sites along the way. If you're looking for general information, I don't think you'll have trouble, except with finding too much information to sift through.

There were plenty of good articles written about the 98 race in the Australian mags at the time. Go to the library and go through their archives for all the Modern Boating, Sailing etc mags from that time.
One of the foremost accounts was written by Rob Mundle, a well known boating journo. I think the book was called "Fatal Storm" - again any library should be able to find you a copy. It's well written - and quite terrifying - well worth a read....

You could also approach the AYF (Australian Yachting Federation). They should be able to give lots of info....
