| You know since this place is a little more rural (boise valleys probably close to 700,000 people now) most the people that grow up here boot scoot it as fast as they can outta here and look for excitement in the big cities. For some reason Ive just always felt content here. ![]() Your right safewalrus, Idaho summers are particularly fantastic. They last from early spring till late fall usually with average highs in the high 80s. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() These are more closer to where I am from. The southwest desert region. The climate here is actually fairly similar to the high desert regions of Afghanistan. We get snow in the winter in the valleys, but it is rare, and usually melts off quickly. In the mountains the winters are a wonderland! ![]() The fact is though from mountains to desert from farmland to cities Idaho aint a bad place to call home. We've also got one of the fastest growing wine regions in America right now here in the desert valley. The volcanic soils are aparently perfect for growing grapes. |

| I would have said "but no coastline" once, but looking at those lakes who needs it? Now if I had me some money I guess I might just be planning a little visit, and I'm thinking maybe you'd need a crowbar to dislodge me - never did like cities anyhow.............. have their uses (you keep people there, whilst here they ain't ruining the good parts of the world) |
