    Mammoth Crazy little boy

Hi everybody, I'm Mammoth. I'm 14 and I live in Canada. I joined here out of my recent interest in making myself a dinghy (All boats for my size are too boring or plain) and this place seems to have a wealth of knowledge. So don't be surprised to see me around the Boat Design and Sailboat areas.

Nice to have you aboard Mammoth. Where are you at in Canada. Sort of a big place, eh?

I'm in Alberta. Namely Calgary. Worst place ever to sail.

Should be able to get to a nice mountain lake, probably full of hungry trout.

Give it a couple years then you can travel at will. BC has awesome waters.

Yes, BC is my destination for sailing. In 2009 I should be talking my Gold Sail VII in Vancouver. (If they have it there)

I will, if I ever actually build it. For now it is an idea/dream. If I can figure out how to do it then my dad should be able to help both with construction and funding.

    Hi Mammoth

Welcome, look at glen-l.com you can buy the plans etc.

If your Dad's good for funding, I could do with a couple of extra $$s.

Nice website, but none of those are what I'm looking for. A few are similar, so I'll look at their general design as a sort reference.

As for funding, I doubt my dad will pitch in more than the price of a few meters of line so I doubt he'll send anything to Australia. :p
