Only an enemy to your way of thinking, why the word enemy is the world at war to you, is confrontation all there is in America why would he be tied to a fender.

British commonwealth nations have a different atitude than the USA. I've had this dicussion several times with Canadian friends. Individual rights are the priority in the USA. A free society is preserved by preserving the freedoms of individuals that make up society.
I may be mistaken, but commonwealth nations seem to put the common good ahead of individual rights.
The highest authority in the USA is congress. The 2nd amendment to the constitution prohibits congress from taking away our guns. As long as the constitution is in effect, nobody can take away our guns. Anybody who tries is an enemy of freedom. Non-gun owners are going to be at a serious disavantange in a gun battle to deprive us of guns. They'll go home draped over a fender like a dead deer.
