| Let’s review some salient points: 1. Free markets, the invisible hand, or economic laws are not going to reduce our taxes for us, “fix” the economy, or save us from heavy-handed government. Government has shut off the normal economic fire alarms by its interventions, and is now working to replace blown fuses with copper pennies to maintain the illusion of business as usual. All well and good until the building burns down, and even then they’ll paint a smiley face on it and give it a positive spin. And even then, too many of us will believe what they tell us. 2. Elites have converted the American democratic process into a mere façade, a form of interactive propaganda. Elections are held, faces change, but policy does not change. Those who make policy live in a world above the democratic process. 3. Protests and demonstrations by themselves are a dead end; they may even become demonstrations of our impotence. They have to lead to further, serious, life changing actions, or they mean nothing. 4. You have to find like-minded people to work with, and coordinate your efforts. In days to come, tested relationships with people you can trust will be at a premium. To gain freedom from British rule, our predecessors mutually pledged “their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor”. You don’t do that with somebody you just met on the internet. “They tell us, sir, that we are weak -- unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? . . . The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery!” Patrick Henry – “The War Inevitable”March 23, 1775 Copyright © 2009 Stephen Kovaka, CPA

| I was having an interesting read by fellow concerned citizens of this planet at http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/ope...k-27446-6.html and could not think clearly, I got soooo upset, so my response was thus - - - "I sometimes feel the efforts of doing what is necessary by caring for the future, is like pushing **** uphill with a pointy stick - am all too often tempted to shove that pointy stick up the fundamental orifice of some of the blind recalcitrant emus/ostriches that seem to love to bury their collective heads in the sands of denial...." The matter of recycling, conserving the environment and reducing ones impact on the environment is not difficult. Once the habit is set in motion life becomes a pleasant activity, and to feel one has left the place slightly better for your intervention and actions is a nice "warm inner glow feeling" to enjoy...

| No-- its like pushing butter up a Porcupines arse with a red hot poker. That is much harder than pushing **** uphill with a pointy stick believe me. As far as I know that is the most difficult thing to do on this planet. Other planets may have different approaches but I don't know. |

| Hi Frosty, How is Londonium, Which Queen did you castigate for economic mismanagement? - - OK but in text and pictures - I am not capable of deciphering smellavision... Frosty, so where is your post? Hundreds of people are waiting with baited breath to view and assess the quality of your spleen venting.... Went to Brisbane to buy a Kubota engine for my genset, went and checked on my build and what - nothing to read? This is a most disappointing situation.... WTF (as some of the septics may conclude - without making any conclusions)... Returning to Blighty, I assumed you would be resplendent in chequered handkerchief with knots in the corners to retain same on ones pointy head, socks and open sandals on ones feet after the style of a Brighton vacation, resplendent in khaki "Bombay bloomers", singlet and loud chequered flannelette shirt. A couple of days stubble on the face & oro-face, as well as the usual unwashed appearance, as it is not yet the day for the annual bath (The Romans never did teach you lot the social benefits of daily or more baths) - then you would have minimal difficulty on re-entry - - UNLESS the immigrants have taken all the immigration/customs/quarantine/re-entry jobs - as part of the "At Home with the Kumars, Bangalore call centre, reality TV" operations with personal live-in support and personal interface supplementary contract of employment, - in which case you could be detained at Her Majesties Pleasure for many days of interrogation to affirm your loyalty and subjugation to the Blighty government....

| Dunno, Ive been without it for 2 weeks and now ---well I can do without it. Dunno what to say. Dunno if I care. Drank way too much last night talking to the waitress in a go go bar, Ille call it a go go bar for you because you could never never understand what they are like. You know where you pay 50 dollars for a lap dancer to dance in your proximity, well I am literally being pestered by naked women and literally asking them to leave me alone. In a lesbian show I was at they used me as a clothes horse as they had nowhere to hang there clothes they were taking of so they thought Oh good ole Frosty --we can use him. Anyway the waitress!! Shes a lovelly girl and always has a smile for me. We always have a bit of a chat. She told me that on Jume 1st she will be upgraded to a dancer,-- I said what one of those types Pointing to a row of naked dancers on the bar in front of us. But But there naked I said. She nodded and said "yes like that" All they had on was shoes, she said she had bought some black high heels for her debut. I think they open at 8 o clock so I will be there at 7.55 to give her some moral support. By they way you might notice an improvement in my spelling as some on in Uk explained that if you right click the word you get a drop down box of options to choose from. This means my spellink will be perfaect from now on |

| Mas I hav'nt been to Londinium for what ? 35 years!!and that would be for passing through reasons. I cant be doing with those light things at road intersections,--too may colours to look at flashing on and off all the time. Yes I far prefer beaches with blowing palm trees and crimson bikinied girls asking if I want a massage. In fact I don't care much for that anymore. I am becoming more simple in my requirements to call it enjoyment. A cold beer Chang is my highlight of the day with a packet of crisps with the first one. Cleaned the house out yesterday ,--forgot I had a back door. |
