Mornin' all - - Man the economy and politics globally has something for everyone to pontificate about, yet nothing significant in the "lies and witchcraft" thread...? where are our resident wise men/women - no pontification? - - - must be holiday time? I hope everything is sorted and bedded down to weather the "perfect storm" or just continuing vacillations from a direction-less market (baby operators with minimal experience of the bear market and a favourite plaything banned - shorting).....

Started in the Ubuntu thread, but feel the need to rant - - - explicit language follows.

WTF, this world needs to purge all these bastards who succomed to the "greed is good" and "all for me and the rest of you can go ****"....

This attitude, to me seems to be the underlying cause of the current Global fiscal woes.... Nothing but the bottom line matters, Not future worth, Not value of or for service, Not care for the environment, No care for the future/children (How can business justify putting poison in milk products for small increase in profits...???)

IMO Lord please bring on the tribulation or whatever.... This society has made a bloody big mess of your plan/hopes/desires.... None is worthy of your grace, All happily participated in this race for personal wealth, power, physical comforts nae luxury at the expense of everyone else we can stab in the back to keep on top of the **** heap.... Fuckin fools, being on top of the **** heap just means there is more **** to swim through to get out, if there is any place left that is out....

May all the ice melt and the water levels of the oceans rise by at least 50m, May the global population be reduced to leave those who are more in tune with living with nature (not pushing the boundaries), Let life be simpler, less complex more of a co-operative local community helping each other with grace and goodwill....

Can you live without telephones, credit cards, the internet, reticulated water, electricity and sewerage disposal, plastic bags, bottled water, supermarket shopping, cars, trucks.... and so on

Can you grow your own food, contribute usefully in your local community, live without debt, live totally self sustainably?.... I know how, and can... - - - If you can't, you have a lot to learn, - real quick....

Oh dear, what a sorry state we are all in - - up to our eyeballs in debt (as a society - I am debt free), trying to swim upstream in a growing flow of **** (waste from our collective wasteful ways), totally denying that anything is wrong or that "the government will fix it so the pain will go away" (I fear that there is a lot worse to come...) So what is the point of this rant? - - **** knows? and I do not feel any better for it either?

I think this weekend has been cancelled? at this time I would expect a bit more traffic as people head to the workplace avoiding the "peak hour" stupidity as the latecomers go round and round looking for a parking space... Unusually quiet???? and quite peaceful? Have all the "children of God" been uplifted to heaven? is it that time already?

Of course, Always look on the bright side... I just wish those bastard rogue traders would hurry up and loose everything then we could all start looking up with no fears of a further fall....

I want to move on and it is long overdue that the correction be made, kill the USdollar and burn all bad debts then start with better rules and a fresh start then it will be only up (long enough for me to see out my days in peace?)

I have to wait for "market recovery" to sell the house (office with a view) to fund that project - - the lack of corrective action by the shrub and co-horts is what is getting my angst up and feeling frustration at the enforced procrastination...

Click on my link at the bottom of each post....
