Landie, - - -That place does not exist anymore..... Get a new map.... post 1975 will do as they all went independant and severed subservience to GB & France and Australia in that decade... PNG has some 600 islands, Solomon comprises more than 300, and further south, Vanuatu is also about 300 islands. New Caledonia does not have very many islands (relatively) and Fije & New Zealand are likewise handicapped. Australia is just one F...in big one with a couple of spots - some bigger than others, oh and "Van Diemans Land" if your charts were from the 19th century...

Charmc & artemis - - - scored the Jackpot (Got a lat & lon in degrees/decimal for a bonus point?)

Anyone into plane spotting - googleEarth to -9.3494 S, 159.8377 E, I was doing some work on that plantation "Ruaniu" and it is not a surface feature...

A "Goodyear blimp" is moored at -26.7436 S, 153.0541 E

masalai,

Yeah, I know that, been there many times, they can call it wot they like, next you will be telling me Ceylon does not exist anymore too, or Burma.

What sort of tea do you think Frosty drinks mate, Ceylonese! (You can tell from the facial expressions)

Landie, on good authority, mainlining from the adjacent yacht club - No HOT Chicks to distract one from the matter of prime interest "alcoholic tea with bubbles" (beer)....

Ask Gamage...... Sri Lankan.. I dunno, (exasperation at perception of ignorance of worldly matters), outside of the USA, does exist you know. . . .

What because of Frosty's outburst of how filthy the place is or did he make such a mess?

Artemis, Concise to the end (6 characters), Oh dear, you have not read the instructions in the first few posts... Verbosits and pontificating with the use of the most complex form possible in order to express your point in being grumpy over.... Epictetus' quote does not count, unless you use it as a reference in your arguement.

For an English challenged person, and for actually expressing the point so succiently, though, you are to be praised - which I have managed to do with REAL points this time. Jeff must have put some into my account
