Be gone for a while

Hi friends, I'll be gone awhile for a planned serious surgery re: a graft on my main artery to my legs and kidneys. Being a mean old gent I'll do fine and will be back to visit in about 2 weeks. Wish all of you a wonderful summer.
I've never been even sick in my 68 years so this will be a unique experience.
I really thank the VA for taking care of this old Marine. They have been just wonderful in all and every aspect of this illness of mine. They say 2 months recup at home--I'll beat that by 2 weeks, maybe 3. That's all -- enjoy every minute of life. Best to all of you, Stan Rasor

Best wishes from me. I'm sure we'll see you back here much sooner than anyone would bet.

So you have an aneurism Stan.
When you're back, you'll carry a lot of tungsten or platinum wire in your belly, maybe even some high quality silicone hose. Tell your surgeon not to leave any tools there....

All the best!

Sory to hear that.
I hope you will be well after the procedure, and come back as soon as you can.
God bless you.

Good luck you'll be a new man afterwords. At only 68 you have no excuse to take a holiday from the forum....Get yourself a laptop and you can keep on posting as you recover.

Ditto; wish I had paid more attention and read this sooner. Good luck and we'll be waiting to hear from you.
