I'm neither a denier nor a skeptic.
Those terms give an undeserved elevation in status to the catastrophic AGW paradym.
It implies it has credibility, enough to be skeptical of, or denied.

They adjust because of innaccuracies in the readings, primarily due to urban heat island effect. This causes thermometers to read too high.
The solution, is to "add" to the temperature data to even it out.

I think I've said this before, but what the heck. If I did, it's worth repeating. The race isn't always to the swift, or the battle to the strong. But that's the way to bet....

In a similar vein, if we have something like 97% of scientists worldwide accepting AGW as real, and Yobarnacle on a boat design forum saying they're all either delusional, dishonest or coerced, that doesn't necessarily prove AGW is real. But guess which way I'm betting.....
