there just aren't that many more manufacturing jobs to lose

is all thats going on

even CNN reported that things are going to get a lot worse before they start getting better in today's video business report

personally I have no outstanding loans and my bank is a small local savings and loan were a very good friend of mine is at the top of its management ladder

but I see my neighbors dropping like flies
four houses now on this block alone are empty
a fifth that was recently purchased from foreclosure
a sixth were a few people got together and loaned some money to the guy who was about to be foreclosed on
the bank refused to work with him
I may have mentioned he had a medical issue and lost his job

things are not better
not by a long shot
and the gov is about the "require" people to purchase private health insurance or face the penalties
they call it public health care

ya

things are hunky dory in the twilight zone

http://financialsense.com/fsu/editor...2009/1008.html Just for mark as I am sure you will agree with me on this essay...

None of the above is utube, google, wikipedia, Yahoo or "main-stream" media so one or two may have difficulty reading (and probably not much video or pictures)

I tried for ten minutes to get the link of your post 1472 to come up...and didn't suceed.
http://washingtontimes.com/news/2009/oct/08/house-ethics-panel-expand-rangel-probe/
Now, let me get this straight... The guy who ran a male prostitute ring from his house, the guy who plays "balls on chin" with my tax dollars then blames everyone else...THAT guy, Barney Frank, is going to PROBE Charles Rangel? Damn. Hate to do this with Washington, at all, but look the other way!

What a delusional comment? just typical of your global and arrogant ignorance - Aussies are in that supporting your country's request as are Brits, Dutch and others... Just go **** yourself quietly...

ya the health care thing is really making me wonder about the intentions of old Obummer
what a crock

they just want to force everyone into paying the insurance companies more money
unbelievable
abolish the insurance companies both car and health
create a slush fund to pay for both and fund it through a flat tax replacing at the same time income tax school tax road tax and all the other BS we get taxed for
one simple fair flat tax for all

basically your list of things we need to change wasnt to far off the mark

bambi, do not pay much attention on retard's blobber. He can't even open wikipedia for general info. There are two levels to VAT in Europe. Individual countries have had it before the EU introduced it.

Some made it work, some didn't. Where it did not work, the rates went up. Current highs are around 25% in some countries, and the lows down to 0%.

As with everything, it depends only on people to make it work. If your government is shitty, do expect the system to be abused and corrupt (sounds like the bad old usa). It is surprising to see you asking "Is a Mafia crime family teaching all these methods of fleecing people...." when capitalism has proved itself to be government-sponsored crime back in 1920' during the "prohibition" and economic crisis. And they never looked back since, as your list in the bathplug thread shows nicely.
