first time right off the boat from England it cracked on its first note, The captain refused to take it back aboard for return to england
it was melted down and recast in the colonies
second time, same thing and melted down again
third time it cracked again and it was recast again
fourth time it lasted 90 years and cracked again
at which point some fool machined the crack out and added a few rivets to try and make the bastard work

New foreclosure filings in Colorado reached a record high of 12,468 during the third quarter, according to a report released Thursday by the Colorado Division of Housing.

The number of completed foreclosures grew to 5,618, the third consecutive quarter they've increased. Despite the growth of recent quarters, the total number of completed foreclosures fell during the first three quarters when compared to the same period last year.

Industry observers say completed foreclosures are down because borrowers are seeking help with loan modifications from Colorado's foreclosure hotline.

"Loan modifications are being offered in record numbers," said Shannon Peer, director of housing counseling at Brothers Redevelopment. "Counselors are working with borrowers to get them into trial modifications and we are starting to see some of the permanent modifications come through."

First time I have agreed with you in awhile but bailouts are chump-change compared to stimulus (paybacks to union bosses and democratic re-election slush fund). The fact of the matter is, if government were reigned in to necessary services and corporate taxes were eliminated entirely, in five years we'd ask "what debt?".

keep the corporate tax and loose the personal income tax on persons earning less than $100,000 a year
you would be giving the common man about +1/3 more money to play with annually and my bet is a lot of that would go to pay down personal debt
