I was climbing through an electric fence a few years back
wearing shorts mind you
held the middle wire down with a stick and slithered between the top and bottom
wanna guess what happened next
yerp
the stick broke just as I was half way through and the jewels were in just the right position
took a serious jolt but I survived to breed again
got most of the ranch laughing there asses off at me to ( we were having a party at the time )

Im hear to tell you that **** hurts
I'd have to recommend not making light of electrocuting the jewels till you've tried it with some good strong 3 strand horse wire and a whole bunch of people watching

I suppose its not a party till someone gets hurt
just that its usually not me

I likewise got a jolt for being lazy and going through instead of around - but the farmer had tweaked it a bit (illegally) and got a burn-mark on the leg luckily and I was wearing rubber soled shoes.... timer needed 1 second to recharge, lay a bit of green grass against the wire and you can heat the "tick" but got caught on the exit near my ankle:

ya my old horses were pretty fence savvy
could weasel halfway through and back it seems anything I put up
so I installed three wire electric all the way around each pasture and turned up the juice to "wake up the dead" level
worked like a charm
I ought to know

glad you had a good time with it
but even grounded you would not likely been hurt
the ones I used were solar and had a pulse like current
pretty sure they are all that way
least around here they are
you can really turn em up by replacing the capacitor but its not recommended
horses dont actually need that much of a jolt to keep em off a fence line

they make far to much money bringing it at street prices

its only the people and a few states that are legalizing pot

why when legalization has such overwhelming support is marijuana still illegal in what
37 states and under all federal statutes

the cash flow of the drug trade is the pulse of America

they will never legalize hard drugs or marijuana

legal drugs are safe drugs of known strength and purity
less overdoses

so how would legalizing drugs do anything but prevent senseless deaths while at the same time providing a huge additional tax base at the very time its needed most

I say legalize all drugs now and lets start fund the recovery programs from those tax revenues instead of funding them from federal tax dollars like they are now

saves lives
saves money
lets people who use drugs pay for there own treatment programs
and
leaves a huge surplus of tax revenues for everyone to use
not just a few choice federal agencies
