| Many options Just run a web search for "register domain name" and you'll find many companies that offer this service. Keeping a registered domain name costs about $1 per month. The companies that offer this service also enable you to find whether a particular domain name is taken or free.

| This may help you. Godaddy will sell you a top level domain (.com, .net, .org) for $8.95 US, with this you get email and website redirect services to say your personal webspace/site provided by your isp. This means you can buy the domain, for example "www.sail-away.com", have your eamail redirected from you@sail-away.com to you@yourisp.com, and have your website at www.yourisp.com/you to www.sail-away.com. So there are good advantages to this setup, and it only costs 8.95. I have bought a number of domains from godaddy, and have always got good service. |
