Its not the first time this has happened. How do fish get into the toilet pump.

The wife smells it first,--FISH she shouts!!! sure enough the toilet wont flush and I have to get my head down and remove the pump.

Then I remove a fish bit by bit with a screw driver, every time you push the button you get fish smell.

That must make it difficult to cook and eat afterwards, surely. :D

    Strainers?

Usually every water inlet has some kind of strainer. Maybe yours has been damaged??

Yea, that has happened to me. Harring thought it would be a great place to lay some eggs one December, I had at least one fish in every thru-hull--Pretty stinky mess.
