Engine upgrade?

I am looking to replace a 1985 Volvo penta 225D with a 305 or 350 Chevy marine grade. What should I be aware of as far as parts not swapping over? Anything anyone can add would be most helpful.

Thanks
Jimmy

I don't know the answer to your question but you might try the DIY Marinizing part of Boat Design and search in "Search this Forum". Sam
