Get those "as many as possible" female cheerleaders crew members on board and it'll last a day before the world ends. "coz if it doesn't blow up, you'll wish it does... They sinchronise their cycle, those monsters, when together... You pick the best you can, separate her from her herd and keep her under the leash for the rest of your life (they tend to live longer... ). You know the drill: chocolates, flowers, a few kids for her to play all day long, etc. Whatever works for the PMS, as sharply pointed out by Hoyt, to keep it down and out of our hair. Or the hair is gone, and you are the next...Geez, the things we have to do of a little bit of their wormth...!!!

Only drug addicts and ****** will have children. The smart people will die off and the world will be like a Mad Max movie. We are about 100 years away. Or may be a Thermo Nuclear war started by North Korea or Iran or May be everyone will become sterile or may there is a virus that we all go mad and kill each other.... Or may be we all become brilliant nice people and world becomes a wonderful place to live... Or may be aliens come and teach us to be more human. Or may be the aliens eat us. Or may be God comes to save us and we all (not all ) of us will live in a nice paradise. Or may be we are all stuck on this beautiful planet with a bunch on all kinds of people. Would love a pink submarine with an all girl crew... ![]()

| Still, havent seen it possible to tick off my option; As many boats, that'll be floating around, maintenance... So, I'd tick off for building a floating dry dock, self proppelled (sail...?) and heavily armed.... "Income", fuel and food guaranteed... ![]()

My rather flippant comments were based on recent posts but I do now see you are an exception. Very impressed with your efforts, looks like it is well worth having, whatever the the state of the world.

So bring me upto speed everybody? Im still working hard on my plans, albeit very slow, we have had some pretty big earthquakes here as of late, so been busy helping others rebuild there lives, I was thinking that if i was at sea during that earth quake at least my home wouldnt have been damaged, and all i would have had to deal with was some heavy swells,... maybe this was a blessing for me, it gives me a chance to get rid of all the crap (and damaged items) and to move onto the boat fulltime, what a great outcome this maybe ![]()

Any prepers out there? If the seas rise 50 meters, I'm staying where I am, I'm already on land! I'll put the boat in the backyard. I'm armed to the teeth, lots of booby-traps, killer German Shepard and enough women to keep constant watch, just waiting for a bunch of nutty sailors trying to sail up to my house to steal my provisions.....so watch out!

Back on topic (not that it's necessary) I voted trimaran I heard a terrible story once about 3 optimistic kids who tried to sail a trimaran from cali to Hawaii. It does not end well. However, a multi-hull that was made so that it could be disassembled at sea and either reassembled right-side-up or used as 2 or 3 single hulled boats could have changed things. A modular system is it's own "plan B" "The flight of the Phoenix" is a tru-ish story about a plane that crashed in the N. African dessert during WW2. The survivors built a smaller plane out of all the aircraft parts they had and flew out. A boat with built in options like that would be safest for long term usage.
