And what you do with them
Remember the earth is underwater, your chicks will be getting old like you will.
So what you will do then? play scrabble?
No my friend, good companionship is more important.
But I get to serious.

Same problem. They cheer for 20 years, and then what? they get old, bored and you can't keep up because you bored and old.
Lets face it: f.. $%#@ one f.. %$#@ all, and then start again.
Look at Hugh Hefner, he looks like and old fart with erections pills up is ass, plus an implant. And he even don't looks that happy.
as for the Bunnies behind him, they are not with him on a boat for 40 years. Remember that, he can renew his stable of vaginal brain.
Round and round, no way out.

Daniel

Not to sound like an ass, but it's true. Once you've been with the pinnacle of the female form enough times, the thrill wears off. Sad, but true. I'd bring along a good companions too. My wife is that pinnacle type, but she's also very cool. When she gets older, (she just turned 30), I know my best friend will be aboard with me as well.

sorta
I been one lucky dog for a long time, and I'd have to say it never wears off. Every time I switch girlfriends its like being a kid all over again. I've been lucky in that young beautiful woman still seem to find me attractive for whatever reason and maybe thats because they have never "worn off" of my priorities list. Seems life is what you make it and for me at least that means that each one is a gift from the gods that I never fail to appreciate.

I have always thought that getting married was certain death to any good relationship, seen it over and over enough to avoid it at all costs. People take one another for granted once they are married. Its sad but true that a simple piece of paper can change the nature of a relationship so. I seem to remember reading a list of things that tend to change once a perfectly happy couple take the plunge. Average weight gain is something like 50lbs in the first two years regardless of age. Evenings out are a thing of the past as is time with friends who are not also married. Sex drops off but I don't remember how badly. Thing is marriage is an outdated institution that might have had its day but in the modern world simply is not a benefit to a healthy relationship

like I always tell my friends who talk to me about it
its the first step to divorce

I dare not contradict a guy who is giving me sound advice in a woodworking thread ( )

I'm surprised it never wears off for you. I guess I'm cursed. It wore off for me. I've been lucky in this department too. Lots and lots of adventures in big cities. The weird thing is with my wife, I don't want to ever date anyone else again. It's my opinion that every other woman on the Earth would be a step down. Maybe it's marriage. Maybe it's the girl I have... IDK. So, unless my wife were gone, there aren't really any other girls who "do it" for me anymore. I always notice they are too fat, too tall, too lame to talk to, too something or other.

My thrill used to come from getting hotter and hotter girls, I think. I have no place to go but down from where I am now, so the thrill is gone. My wife was Miss Teen NY, a model and appeared on several television commercials and a reality show or two. She's got everything I ever dreamed up that I wanted and she's cool as hell. There's no place to go but down, so the thrill of other girls has worn off.

Just a small data point to your marriage stats. Sadly, I don't think we are the norm and I think your points are correct in many ways:

I weigh the same as I did in high school. My wife weighs a little under 100lbs. Were both in better shape now than when we met. She basically looks like a Bratz doll... lol. Evenings out and friends from before the marriage do fall by the wayside, but that's because your priorities shift. I would rather stay in with the wife than go out or see old friends and that's the truth. Sex doesn't drop off unless you have kids, I think. That's what I've heard anyway. Won't be having those though!

eh to each his own

I just watch each and every friend I know fall in love, get married, hate each other in no time, and then get divorced owing hundreds of thousands and thinking that they just didn't find the right person. When from a different perspective it looks like they found a nice enough person but then made a few bad moves that stressed things to the point were any sane soul would crack.

I wish you the best on whatever path you take
its just that some paths are smoother than others

cheers
B

Definitely to each his own.

Just figured I'd throw out my personal experience on this stuff since it was in the thread.

I thought I'd be seeing all kinds of Mad Max boats or something with the thread title! Instead, everybody's talking about what kind of chicks to load the boat up with!

I've seen a lot of people go the path you are talking about with marriage and divorce too. It gets real ugly.

It depends what you mean by the world.

If it is planet earth try:-

http://www.universetoday.com/14488/end-of-the-earth/

If it is human "civilization" try:-

http://www.howistheworldgoingtoend.com/

This thread started with the proposition that sea level would rise 50m, my house is 100m above sea level

This may have been covered earlier, I did not have time to read 59 pages of posts, but nearly all the oil refineries in the world are on the coast so diesel and petrol (gas) would be hard to obtain.
