| Drunken Incoherant Ramblings Hello... Necessity is the Mother of all Invention... I made this house... Anyone feel free to vent - without all the *******s who need to clean the threads - (no pun intended) - of the pickle in their ass - so they can wind it up a little tighter - and moan about respect and morality... If you don't like this - piss off - if your skin is like vellum - piss off... If you feel the need to preach - judge people that you do not know - or qoute a by-law - or go on about what corporate ******* that you have your thumbs screwed into - piss off... SH. |

| Mas...Mas. Mas...you have definately not ridden a modern Harley or you would not be soooooooo bitter...my little fella (Sportster Custom 2007) is simply a fantastic "modern" "vintage" bike....I was going to buy an Enfield, but the harley is 50 years old anyhow, so I ride it around like a vintage bike and really do love it......my "riding" bikes however are BMW......but that is another story.

| I guess it makes a wonderful "cruising bike" and apart from the immaculate and spotless ones with the riders sporting "distinctive colours", I seem to find sooo many on the lounge-room carpet being 'stripped and rebuilt'? with nary a one parked in a garage ready for a spin when the sun shines, and the BMW bike may be good but the cars - - sorry NUP... My old Ford 1600cc car may be crap, but it is reliable and gets me there dry and safe at less than the speed limit and is now only worth ??? bugger all? and everything still works... - - It is a means to economically get from "A" to "B" with minimal fuss...

I got nothng - hell - I might just become one of those happy chappies that post **** opinions and lay off a bit ... That could go 'amuck' - it would be very hard for me to be a nice person ... **** it - see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejRal5xFWA4 ... Then there is Heather Small of M People who never broke the N/A market - big sexy - big voice - see http://www.youtube.com/user/SluGz02#p/f/37/jbkysd9mQho ... Oh crap - that would be a 'plug' - hell - look at her - listen - top of the heap... I like to think that if I wrote her a nice poem based on the rummage I pulled from her waste bin - she might fall in love with me... SH. |

| Sean, This is the most depressing week of this or any year, especially in the gloomiest climate locale on the continent. Hold it together and think of sunshine and flowers. They will be along shortly. Smile knowing you have friends.

| Hey, Sean, You know, that's one fuk of a lot of loss in such a short period of time. You can't drown it in booze, 'cause it'll just float to the surface, **** does that. Here's a suggestion, worth what you paid for it. Save some bucks, get a passport & fly to some cheap tropical place. screw your brains out, eat great, cheap food & read a lot of books about guys who went to cheap countries & hung out, eating drinking, smoking, screwing, whatever. Do it for 6 months, or until you can't stand it anymore. Along the way, you'll find the time to grieve & to re-focus on what you want for the future. If this appeals to you, you're welcome to go stay at our place in the Southern Philippines, nothing fancy but clean, & safe enough. More than a few retired steelworkers there! Let me know & I'll send you some pictures/info. . Lots of places around the world for recharging your batteries. My parents went within 5 months of each other, a couple of years ago, so I get it, though my wife hung around to keep me going, fool that she is. Mike |

| Captain, Unfortunately (for me) I do not like any of the new series of BMW. so instead restore R series (Airheads), I grew up with them (had a shop in Adelaide), and understand their limits and merits...to me, they are still very rideable, and can go fast if you care to do so, I have a few of the suckers in various states of disrepair. My on road version is a 1993 R80Mono, very nice distance rider.

| Captain, Now for the Harley....managed to never own one till I bougt the 2007 model with fuel injection. It is a very (very) smooth riding bike, has reasonable power (50), so it is way faster than cars, but the forward controls put a load on your lower back, so long trips are painful. Around town or going for a fast ride, they are there with the best of em....a Buell is a Sportster anyhow, just hotted up. All alloy engine now, 4 cams and no leaks......try one before you comment further...I was very surprised myself, enough so to hand over the cash.

congratulations... btw - a buell is no hotted up sportster... it is a quite radical, alum-framed naked with a lot of bright ideas and technical solutions incorporated... nothing which comes to mind when thinking "harley".... buell facilitated for their latest bike - the 1125CR - a rotax engine... probably that was also a reason for harley to close them down although beeing very successful in some US-race-series... does this look like a harley sportster to you? |

| Captain, Hey mate, go for a ride, you are way too serious........Buell is/was owned by HD....they were using so many of their engines that they ended up buying the company, so yes, the Buell is based around the Sportster motor.....all I am saying is that after riding for over 40 years, I too was surprised at how good the new range of Sportsters is....nothing more ...nothing less.
