A Maned Wolf (Chrysocyon brachyurus) and that's a canid but not closely related to other canids and the only member of the genus Chrysocyon. So it's no dog and neither a wolf or fox or jackal or coyote. It is on the IUCN Red List of near threatened species. What a coincidence that the exact same pic of your pooch is on this and this website too.

How is she, your pooch, as a pet?

I couldn't find any pictures of people close with one, do you have such pic's?

Anyway, good luck with her....!!

Cheers!
Angel

ya when I get to the Amazon I want one as a pet to
my bet is they are illegal to own what with being on the red list and all
I know the Zoo is trying to bread them but no go so far

anyway send us some pictures of it in the house
or is it not house trainable
my experience with them is they are friendly and would most likely make a good pet
they do stink to high hell though

They were my rabbit hounds, until Lump lost a leg to a sheepherder. He can't keep up anymore. Without him, Baby Girl sidetracks too easily. She was the better of the two at 'jumping' a rabbit and was better at casting around for a lost trail, but he was the steady one who kept them on one rabbit at a time.

Yes I think thats right it was tin. I think it was used by the Germanians to make little badges to decorate them selves.

My real name is Gilbert but I prefer to be called Frosty ,-- Thats what I signed up as and I would hate to be know on the forum as Gilbert.

So Richard should be called Apex as to his wishes. Hes got more balls here than most have.

Hows about springing for some kibble, now and then.
