Groundhog Day.... wake me up if something exciting happens before August. US stocks look to be trying to hammer out a bottom at least for the short term...wouldn't be surprised to see another `credit capitulation` in August with a another panic sell off. we should be ripe to kick off another full round of this lttlie jig by then.

Bush is busy amping up the `states` power.... all for your own protection, off course.

The DOW is around support levels, and looks oversold, but I'm not betting on a rally yet...break down here and its another 500 points down before relief around 10,750... that actually looks highly probable to me

USD is copping flack around the 50 day average, not much more that 0.5c upside if we do break it, by the looks of it, probably a little more upside then they will short the snot out of it again.

Is the Aussie consumer finally tapped out, or can 'we' find more credit to float this leaky boat?

Oil back on support and trend, looking reloaded and ready to rally. Nothing to celebrate in the way of lower prices yet. Break lower here and we might have some relief. 135 is the number... The contract is back in contango, that suggests the pressure is coming off and that the next top, if we get one, could be a correction point.

Thats one paper and a few charts... I'm off for more...

As you know the young hedge managers don't believe in gold, the play du jour is to short gold stocks. The short positions are huge, when they work out that this trade will turn sour covering these positions is simply not going to be possible at anything like the current prices. These young scientists have built a rocket, only they don't seem to realise it yet, mebe because its pointed squarely at their arse's.
