Well, Leo holed me below the waterline, because he cleverly posted the Wiki link for Bouillabaisse some time before me. However, an island, some wood and a few suitable stones, some wet sacks and voilà, the Hāngi.

Love those little espresso coffeepots. I have one with the traditional 8-sided bottom, but the top half is round and enameled in yellow. At least it was yellow years ago; parts of it are more of a brown now.

'Hanging' meat (I assume you meant) or any other method of aging can tenderize it a surprising amount. It also mellows the flavor. If you ever have a steak fresh off the cow, you'll be surprised at the difference in texture and taste.

 

I change mine now and then. Some I've had in the past:

'Things are a lot more like they used to be than they are now...'

'If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?'

'The law in its majestic equality forbids the rich as well as the poor to sleep under bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal bread.'

I had to condense that last one slightly to make it fit, though.
