The military version is professionally designed form and function...a beautiful ship. The yacht is goofy. A Gin Palace under a Pleasure Dome..

I really can't call that huge glass dome handsome. Looks like the architect wanted to copy a sporty styling of a 12-meters motorboat to a big ship. The boat styling is imho not scalable and require different approaches when going from small to big, but, at the end, it is all in the eye of the beholder. I guess the glass dome is there to give a lots of bright sunlight (with a lots of heat to dissipate too) to the interior architecture, which must be a story on it's own. I would love to see some pics of the interior styling, though I'm affraid it will remain a secret. I guess the designer has resolved all of his present and future economical problems with this project. ![]()

Its not just the pleasure dome, greenhouse . The yacht has no side decks forward of BMax for fender and line handling. Yachts that size operate in small ports, alongside. Also, I dont see wing steering stations. No tender on the foredeck ? Both ships tenders amidships will be unlaunchable when stern too. How does the stern passerelle work ?

I think she is beautiful... But personally I would have left all the military stuff up front intact. he he. May be princess thinks it is the end of the world and he is building a greenhouse boat. Seriously, you guys talking about pulling lines, fenders, steering. I am sure this boat won't travel alone, it will be escorted everywhere it goes. They could always use helicopters to pull lines and I am sure cameras/sonar instead of wing stations.
