Confucius says

its not the Yo-yo s who are just having to much fun and walk right on out the front door of the pub having forgotten the bill ( hangs head in shame and admits, yes my friends and I did exactly that tonight ) but the first person home who's responsibility it is to call and apologize for having been part of the stupidity and catch the tab.

the waitress sounded particularly thrilled to have heard from me by the way

or to put it another way

wait a minute
did we just leave without paying the bill ( in the car and about 20 miles down the road )
moment of silence
uh
anyone
