A 'consensus' cannot alter reality, even if you close your eyes, wish with all your heart and click your heels three times
  • CO2 has a short residence time
  • The expected fraction of fossil carbon is missing from the atmosphere if fossil carbon caused the recent CO2 rise
  • The present atmosphere is missing HALF its CO2 under any set of circumstances that could cause an accumulation in the first place
  • Outgoing LWR increases when temperature increases (NEGATIVE feedback)
  • There's absolutely NOTHING at all unusual about 20th century climate; warming periods of equal or greater magnitude and rapidity have occurred in the past, even within recorded history

That is plausible, but unfortunately to bad for you that this assertion has been proven well to be false in many works of those scientists who disaggree with CO2 theory. Methane is the real greenhouse gas, not the CO2.

So you can keep pedalling your disagreement as much as you want, but it is wrong. Just as those who push CO2 as the main, if not the only, cause of the accelerated warming.

And, by the way, how do you know there's "absolutely" nothing wrong with the changes? Who said that your information is correct?

DO tell, I'd love to hear. It already makes yo the same as those whom you are opposing.

Mythbusters are nobody's paid clowns that have to come up with a political results of a scientific research. They investigated and demonstrated how much methane comes out of a cow.

A lot. For exact number see the episode, if you want a scientific number. They collected, I think, 10kg of manure and pumped up solid a truck tire with the methane from it. Then they fired up a lawnmover and run it around on that methane alone.

Look for their conclusion at the end. Interesting. Deniers will of course call them liars too. Whoever disagrees with deniers is a liar or ignorant...

Boatfan: beavers drain, dam and divert rivers. Humans do what they are best at, the same as every other species. We could claim that whales are bad because no other species dives deep and sings.

From the start global warming proponents have been grabbing at straws and using rethoric instead of good science. I am skeptical, but willing to listen to reason and hard data.

Then all you need to do is to find yourself that episod of Mythbusters where they are collecting manure from cows and making their own methane. They had two or three girls form some school helping with experiments.

See what do they say about CO2 and methane. It is interesting and deprived of political and euphorical yaynaying from either side.

No beavers in Australia.

Our one and only river is virtually dry at the sea entrance. We have to regularly dredge to keep at least some flow to the sea.( South Australia )
Google ( Goolwa water levels )

Three major contributors :

1 Irrigation : Massive amounts of water drawn upstream.
( Have a look at what the Cotton industry is doing here as one example )..

2 Industry .

3 Drought .

This is getting a little silly ....deep diving whales ?
What effect do you think singing , deep diving whales have on anything ?

What we CAN claim , is that the world`s over population and its associated consumption , is the single , largest threat the world faces today , rather than some ridiculous " Conspiracy " fantasy.

You know if everyone that believed whole heartily in global warming would just stop driving a polluting auto and stop useing power generated from coal/gas we would have the global warming thing licked.

So instead of preaching to us how we all have to change because of your beliefs why dont you change and show us just how easy it is to lower your greenhouse emissions like you want us to do.

remember no fossil fuels, no plastics, no electricity, and because someone brought it up, no beef.

You do this and Ill be a lot more intrested in listening to your opinions about how I should change MY life.

How convenient !

Just deny the facts , invent a " conspiracy " and just continue driving a polluting auto and using power generated from coal/gas.

There are no easy answers to this.

And ...you missed the point !

This thread was about a " HOAX "
The only " HOAX " here is inventing a " conspiracy " .

I wished it was as easy as all that.

I didnt say anything about a "conspiracy" . I said that if you want to preach to me about change you should do it first.

Cant handle that then you dont really want change you just like to argue.
