Can sailing take off in Dubai?!

    There is the Maktoums Cup which has got Christophe Vanek skippering Horizon FCB who wins the Cup and the offshore race the so called Dubai-Muscat Race nearly 300nm!

    Match racing started last March by Ex Alinghi skipper Coutts standing there to make sure it's happening!

    The 100 Dhow racing a local dream for local sailors to win the million Derhams!

    Than comes the national team of UAE! UAE2 which was down in the South Coast of England she was spotted during Cowes Week!

    Now, where is Dubai heading to next?

    Is there anyhope other countries in the gulf would be intersted to entre the sailing world! There isn't anything offical going on in this part of the world shame cos it's so nice!

    Wish I would live to see racing taking off!
