Exactly - you always know who your mother is but your father?

remember that scene from "Local Hero" (your modern 'Whisky Galore' where the hero looks at a young girl and remarks - nice kid, who's the father? and the camera flashes to a row of locals on the sea wall - the looks of bemusement on their faces is classic!) 'course you do Max compulsory viewing for any Scot! (or half Scot even)

Remember it ? Rus I was there when they 'shot' some scenes in the Plockton area. Pity it never got a 'wider' audience, but perhaps it was too much on an 'in-joke' script. But you remeber that the scene where the old beach-comber was bargaining with the oil executives - and said he would part with his plot for as many dollars as the grains of sand in his hand...and they refused thinking the price far too high ? It really happened some years earlier when a German real-estate firm wanted to buy and develop a similar area for a 'marina'.
A crew from Aberdeen University spent a couple of days actually counting the grains of that particular beach that could be held in an average human hand. Result 5,760...(five thousand, seven hundred and sixty).

So--Walrus you say your not too sure who your Father is. So then we can assume therfore that you will be similarly unsure if they were married.

Explains a lot wouldnt you say?
