I phoned you Walrus, but the lady who answered said you were out somewhere, she wasn't sure exactly where, because you were Bullimore's navigator.....

Ha-- Gotcha he doesnt have a telephone. They havnt got that far south with the phone lines yet.

Thats why he does the internet on sundays and fridays when he goes to town to the library.

AND-- still although being warned by the police, he still stops in at Woollworths and stares at the girls behind the make up counter.

He might not scare the girls so much if he had a shave and stopped wearing that grey rain coat and wearing sun glasses in the rain.

Quite right Jack. I should have made myself clear. I lit a beacon which was picked up in Darwin - new fires lit - and picked up in Jakarta etc etc until it reached Mrs Grockle's Pizza and Massage Parlour (French and Swedish Mondays to Fridays for discriminating gentlemen) from where it was relayed via young Sam Yeo the telegram boy who cycled down the hill to the Walrus residence...Hope that clears things up.

That would be from young Sam Yeo having nibbled Mrs Grockle's pizza...

Bullimore Newsflash

ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz...What?????.....Oh yes....Bullimore....errrrr..it seems that after only 15 days since leaving Hobart the intrepid Bullimore has 'only' a further 92 miles from the entrance of the Hauraki Gulf but is expected to wait until daylight before making landfall and meeting with a tug arranged to tow him into Auckland......

I believe he could have done it by ferry in less than three days......Can I go back to sleep now.....

Who started this stupid thread anyway Jeff

Why's he stopping in NZ? I though t he was meant to be breaking the round the world record. Has no-one told him that sailing to NZ doesn't count, especially if you start in Australia. He gave the after dinner speech at our annual prize giving one year. All I can say is that he came across as inept in real life as he does in the media.

Glad to help Frosty.
I thought maybe he was getting hungry, but you're right - bladder control is probably his main problem.
