I think I inferred (tongue in cheek?) a while ago that big brother is peering where you do not expect - I feel scared when prophesies seem to be realized - Not good Janice.... (don't anyone complain about my spelling - I re-installed Linux & am not sure which dictionaries I am using?)

Look at google earth now, type an address and you will get the detailed physical location and in many cities a front view (street elevation) - You have NO PRIVACY any more.... (period, period, period, period) !

Depends how many kids you have by now... And don't be too hasty to shoot the postman. After 60 or so years you're probably going to phone (invite) him yourself to please bring some post so you can slip away for a beer at the pub (like Frosty).

As for big bro... how many people are there... how long will it take them to hack in once for each of us ? Someone's going to be buzy.

They may attemp when they suspect crime activity, but I don't think it's that easy, especially if your drug record PC is not connected to the internet, surprise surprise. They may follow some of the kids games they play on the other PC's though... maybe get a new high score to beat

If they can get to your computer they can put things on your computer... just imagine a bent officer deciding to load you up with child porn just because he couldn't make some other charge stick. The possibilities are huge...

Would they allow phone tapping without a warrant?

Well, you'll always get some hacker trying to prove his own capabilities. The baddies like druggies usually can afford the best and is going to be the toughest to get in to, fire walls, hardware fire walls, buffer zones and the likes. Many ways to isolate stuff.

Absolutely... so it will just be the mom's and pop's that they can get into. Typical... police are there to keep honest people honest. The last time I reported a burglary of a storage shed they didn't even want to do the paper work! Yet the same cop would gladly right you a ticket for 3 km over the limit... they wonder why they get a bad wrap!
