Belgian undertakers have drawn up plans to dissolve the corpses of the dead in caustic solutions and flush them into the sewage system.

Eh... dead is dead. It wouldn't bother me any more than being cremated would. And it probably beats being sealed in a box six feet down, instead of blending back into the Earth.

We scattered my parents' ashes in the desert because they asked us to. But I seriously doubt they'd have noticed, had we done something else instead.

I could imagine some more "romantic" approaches, sure.
