Backing Boat Up Hill

Purchased a Rinker Captiva 282 on a 2010 ventora aluminum double axel trailer with surge brakes. My driveway has a 15% grade.....will my 2007 Tahoe have any problems backing the boat up??? Boat and trailer weight approx 6500 lbs

Any comments appreciated

Thanks

Your Surge Brakes should be on both Axcels and have an Electric lockout that should be acctivated by the Backup light pin on your 7 wire connector.

If the trailer only came with a flat 5 pin like a lot of them do. Just sut it off go to Wally World and buy a 7 pin to replace it.

It will fit the 7 pin that is on your truck bumper

The center pin Extra/Aux doubles as a Backup light circut.

Put a Meter on it to confirm..

This unlocks the surge brake when you put it in reverse.
