Aspiring Marine Engineer

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site, and forums in general. I'm a junior in high school and want to get my NAME (naval architecture marine engineering) degree from the United States Coast Guard Academy. I currently am involved in many extra curricular activities, one being captain of our swim team. My grades consist of A's and the occasional B. I have taken classes through the United States Power Squadron and recently passed my piloting exam. I need some advice though, it would be great to be able to talk to someone that was in the Coast Guard, Academy or not.

Thanks
