Uhhhhggg! Don't remind me. The F@#%! it all up in 1982. I think it's been corrected somewhat since then. There is a somewhat seperate Navy, an army, an air force, but it's still Canadian Farces, and there still is a common uniform (you'd have to be Allan Quartermain to find an example of it though). Them and the Mounties all use a common purchasing branch called Public Works...and it just doesn't work ....

Yeah heard that, was told that it was possible to slightly rearrange the uniform to look like what you were supposed to be; soldier, sailor or airman! Just that every now and then you get smoe smartass who'd post as per the book and you'd get a sailor in the middle of the S'wan tank ranges (sorry can't spell Sascatchawan or what ever it's called) or a tanky throwing his guts up in the middle of the Atlantic! Governments eh!

In 1991 a band I was in was putting on a show at the Disneyland Hotel. We got to go onto the Back Lot. In my opinion it was like a desert. That's where they kept animals (horses etc...) penned up. Of course, I live in a rain forrest, so what do I know.

Watch me get sued now.

Arrrr! No Quarter!

Can't think why you're all getting het up over China. Condi Rice and the Australian Prime Minister (whose name escapes me at the moment - Bush I think...) spent several minutes discussing China this past week (March 17th) and announced their talks had been 'amicable.' In fact I believe Ms Rice was most impressed with the Prime Minister's collection of Spode teacups - even though some of the handles were missing. They also touched on Wedgewood, Coalport and Royal Dalton, but unfortunately had to leave a revue of Tupperware until the next 'summit'.
However that should reassure you that at least down under the Liberal Government is fully aware of world affairs....
