Just looking at Google Earth and the camera has caught an interesting event in the port entrance in Alicante Spain. Looks like the outgoing frieghter has just sunk under tow, there is a similar vessel being towed in.

The stern tug is still trying to pull the vessel out of the way, the stern is still afloat but the bow would be resting on the bottom.....good bulkheads.

Are they loading marble here ? Anyone know anythying about this ? The ships look like they are in good condition but I cannot find anything on that vessel sinking in the harbour.

That seems to me a photoshopped thing. The 'sunken' vessel is the same that the one coming towed in. Even the tugs.
A joke from Google Earth's people?

Cheers.

They do look awfully similar, don't they. If you look closely, you'll see four round shapes on the wheelhouse of one, while only three on the other. I think it's real.
