ANZAC day fly over

This went tearing up the lake yesterday, and I got a shot from my deck when it returned.

What a sound! Turn the volume way up right click on this, and open in a new tab to hear.(Then you can see the picture and hear the sound file at the same time.)

I shot the Mustang with a 7 megapixel, and it may have been cruising at 300 knots. I was shooting through the trees, and shutter lag is a pain to compensate for...
Man I am proud of getting that shot

Rayk,

Just out of interest.

Saw your link to Etap. If you get the opportunity, try and watch the Cunliffe programme about two brothers in law who restore an Etap.

Restoring etap

Had a dig around about that show Pericles,
Quote:
This latest one Boatyard, leaves me a bit disappointed so far, (after only the first four episodes). True, Cunliffe's boating credentials are beyond dispute, but both episodes have spent too much time reviewing 'the project' and concentrate on the psychology of the owners rather than the boats and refurbishments themselves.

We are shown the poor owners getting depressed as the task unfolds (been there, done that Blush !), then hey presto, an expert steps in and solves the critical problems, leaving them to further discuss the critical path, rather than more detail on what was actually done...
I get the feeling that restoring the etap was a bit of an eye opener...

If you saw clouds in the sky Jack - you were dreaming...So send those dreams south to NSW...

And if we don't hear from you again...we'll know the other thing up there is/was a bomb. (Bush started early in case Rudd wins election...)

Lazy Jack, I've heard of guys blowing up condoms but that is going too far.

There was a bloke in Perth that tried to market airships and his airship was a common sight around Perth. They didn't sell well. He ended up in jail. Is now out and making lots of money elsewhere.

Looks a bit small to be a condom Poida, unless it's for the Queensland market...

Here's some nice Aircraft photos I took at the Yeovilton Air Show.

And yes, the Eurofighter was moving a bit quick! In fact, even the spitfire was moving a bit...

Sod that Eurofighter, one flew over the recent Navy Days (I guess we only got one!) in Devonport (Plymouth) straight over our place at damn near zero height - talk about noise - three miscarrages 126 cases of brown underpants and a complet sense of humour faliure from the locals BT made a fortune with the phone calls complaining (surprised they didn't buy a few more for low level flights with that reaction!)
