Aerocat - pusher seaplane

I'm a big fan of pusher aircraft, and combine that with floats and I go a little nuts. I've never seen this one before, looks pretty cool. The floats are different looking, something a boat guy might be interested in looking at.

WIG's (Wing in Ground Effect) craft should be mated to a hovercraft landing type system in my opinion. Flying that low things can happen quickly, and you can't bank a plane flying that low to turn without a wing tip touching. Nothing beats making an emergency landing on any surface like a compressed cushion of air.

Thanks for the links antonfourie.

hovercraft airship

Aerocat is a plane with floats has nothing to do with ground effect.

Fast sailboats, slow flying airplanes have things in common. So have slow saiboats and fast aeroplanes.

Airships just float but when they go faster aero/hydro dynamics apply. We all need to land. So i agree.
