Anybody know what particle size this gives you?

depends on what the 300 refers to! and until then no! At a guess it's probably 'denier' which is kinda small.......................but don't quote me!

To what, exactly does the subject refer? this too might help (if your talking about whales it's pretty big, if you get my drift)

I guess being somewhat genetically closer to whales you would think like that!
Nup, copper powder is what it I am referring to. I think it may be in the vicinity of < 2microns. I need copper in the <20 microns > 5 microns.
Just trying to be difficult....and save a few bucks in the bargain.

300 mesh is about 50 micron avg diameter.

20 micron is about 800 mesh. 5 micron is listed as 50000 mesh.

As a point of reference, a typical human hair is 40 microns in diameter.
